Australien – Mission Schnabeltier

They are among the most well-known animals in Australia: the platypus. Equipped with a bill and thick fur, egg-laying and yet suckling their young, the animals were hunted for their fur and almost wiped out. In the meantime, their population has recovered. But new threats are once again affecting these peculiar animals.
